IMO, the Huffington Post will merge with the NYT. Not sure which one will make the move.
Now that the NYT has been downgraded to junk status, it needs to do something desperate to survive.

I'm not sure if the NYT has enough to buyout the HP or if the HP's backers can afford the NYT. But I think it will happen.

What do you think?

2. More likely, Murdoch will buy them and push them far far right!
Like he did with the WSJ, Murdoch might buy the brand and use it to promote his own agenda.
