10. An excellent way to encourage reading!

My mom's a librarian. They are some of the most patriotic people in our country. :patriot:

11. During banned book week at our library, this is what they did:

They set up a table with a bunch of books in plain brown wrappers (Kraft paper). On the paper there was a date written, indicating the date the book was banned. There was also a notation showing the genre. You checked them out, not knowing what book you were checking out. They asked that you not unwrap them till you got home. I checked out a YA novel. Turned out to be about homosexuality.
