There's a thread going on over in GD:P that I'm cross-posting here for additional participation.

Basically a member has asked that we email McCain and let him know we are the "scary" people donating to Barack Obama.

5. I did it

I wrote about my big bad scary self, how I had scraped up $100 over 4 months to donate to Obama, no thanks to W and McSame's policies of benefiting the wealthy few. And how I intended to juggle the budget and find another $25 tonight to donate.

And then I did donate my $25, thru the DU donate page.

I'll let you know when Homeland Security comes to interview me.

10. i just looked on a donate to mcasshole website

they are marking various fields as "required" such as name/address/city/state/zip/employer/occupation
and then at the bottom of the screen they say:
"*Federal law requires us to report the name, address, occupation, and employer of any contributor who gives more than $200 in an election cycle. "

something tells me these motherfuckers will gladly accept a donation of $200 or less even tho you don't give them all this info that is required for contributions over $200.

i bet there are a few "joes" out there who didn't turn over their names, etc.
