If you live with the snow.....

The 50' Snowball Launcher.
This toy blaster makes and launches softball-sized snowballs up to 50', allowing rapid, long-range assaults during neighborhood snowball confrontations. Simply place snow in the forming chamber and close the lid, and it packs three perfectly spherical snowballs. To blast your mark, place one snowball in the muzzle, aim the launcher, and pull back the slingshot mechanism. Because the blaster is powered by elastomers instead of batteries, it provides uninterrupted, fast-action play. Made of durable, cold-resistant plastic. Includes targets for shooting practice.

Wish I lived with the snow sometime to play!

1. It's wonderful as long as you can visit it, play in it, and then go back to where it is warm.
Living in it 24-7 for months on end gets old very quickly.

Of course, so does 100+ and you can't have a sunshine fight as easily.

2. you are more than welcome to come play in the snow here
after you've shoveled a foot or two or three of snow from the walks/driveway, sand them down, shovel out the mailboxes and cleared off the cars

8. Notice I said "sometime."
I do not envy you. I lived in DC for a while and that was enough. I know that is baby stuff.
I will take the 100+ heat.:hi:

3. I got a fully-automatic snow launcher...
...it's orange, makes a lot of noise, and I can hit a person hiding around the corner by calculated ricochet...course, lots of snow blows back in my face, depending on wind direction...we had single shots as kids, a plastic baseball bat with the end cut off...you stuck the end in the snow, preferably wet and sticky...not very accurate, but 50' was nothing...

7. we used to hit billboards...
...with the baseball bat snow-flinger...not like hitting one over the Big Green Monster...but it made a gratifying and resounding WHACK!...boredom conquered, while waiting for the school bus...and Mr. Turk's reaction was a given, a loud voice behind the Marlboro Man, "you kids cut that shit off!"...when I use the orange model, my 80-something white woman neighbor performs the sister act in her flannel nightgown, the curtains yanked aside...she's imposed economic sanctions on me...but she does go to confession...so everything's honkey dorey...

9. And if you just can't get enough of the white stuff, there's this

http://www.snow-maker.com

In just a few hours, you can transform your brown, winter lawn into a winter wonderland for you and your family! Guarantee a white Christmas this year or make a sledding hill for the kids...the possibilities are endless.

10. Man, why couldn't I be ten years old again today.
The juvenile warfare technology is leaps and bounds over what I had. Shit we didn't even have super soakers yet! It was all throwing skill and the lethality of the snow/ice mixture in the ball in my day.

11. Looks great for organized neighborhood snowball wars, but
for stealth snowball attacks on unsuspecting victims, nothing beats the good old-fashioned handmade snowballs hidden inside coat pockets :7

But anyway, where the hell were all these fun toys when I was a kid?
