our repuke guv, Jim Douglas will win with ease. It's a three way race with Anthony Pollina, Progressive Party and Gaye Symington, Dem and Speaker of the VT House.

Symington is a terrible candidate and has run a for shit campaign. Pollina has run a terrific campaign on a shoestring- he's my candidate.
I think Pollina who's been endorsed by the state's two largest unions will actually beat Symington. They're in a statistical tie now. And combined, Symington and Pollina will likely garner more votes than Douglas, but in the end, even if Douglas gets less than 50% and it goes to the overwhelmingly dem legislature, Douglas will win, and we'll be stuck with that colorless creep for another two years.

and it really pisses me off too. Why on earth did the dems put forth such a weak candidate and not support Pollina (my choice as well). Between the two they split the vote and leave us stuck with JD again.
Although after the nasty little stunt the repukes tried the other day, (bad checks from Pollina's old company) that seems to have backfired big time (Not big enough sadly). Fox (yes Fox) actually did the right thing and reported on the stunt. Made JD look really bad. Who knows, maybe just maybe, it'll end better than expected! Cross your fingers.
