Why are Buchanan and the other Rethug hacks
so preoccupied with the huge turnout of black voters. Don't all citizens have the right to vote? Isn't voting part of so so called democracy?

1. Because they (the voters) are black.

They shouldn't be voting at all, let alone voting for the (black) Democrat; they should be at Pat's house scrubbing his floors and mowing his lawn. Seriously, Pat is a racist tool. He can't imagine anybody but conservative white people participating in citizenship.

2. Give you three guesses and the first two don't count.

3. He and lots of Rethugs (Paul Weyrick most famously) want LOW turnout ...
Low turnout has historically favored Repugs, while
high turnout has favored Dems. Seriously -- they
DON'T WANT EVERYONE TO VOTE! They try to disguise
it, but their strategy is to turn people off from
the political process so they can pull their shenani-
gans with the vote ...

4. Feelings of inadequacy
Edited on Sat Nov-01-08 09:39 AM by SpiralHawk
This is the True Emotional Signature of the Republicon: Inadequacy -- which is then perverted by republicons into a self-designated and delusional 'elite' sense of entitlement and assholish arrogance. All this in an endeavor to cover up their pathetic sense of inadequacy.

5. Because they're racist, as well as homophobic,
jerks. They're worried that because Obama is half black many black voters will be even more supportive of him. Whether that happens or not, the repugs are seeing only colors this election and not issues.

6. Because they realize that the dominance of the white male is going to recede
and they don't want the gravy train to end. Period.

Obama represents the trend in our country toward more diversity and more inclusion. They hate that.

8. So why don't they have the guts to publicly state that
they are against democracy?

7. Their goal is to concentrate wealth and power in the hands of an elite.
Democracy scares them.
