Obama says he didn't know aunt's illegal status

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Saturday he didn't know that one of his relatives was living in the United States illegally and believes the appropriate laws should be followed.

The Associated Press found that Obama's aunt had been instructed to leave the country four years ago by an immigration judge who rejected her request for asylum from her native Kenya. The woman, Zeituni Onyango, is living in public housing in Boston and is the half-sister of Obama's late father.

"Senator Obama has no knowledge of her status but obviously believes that any and all appropriate laws be followed," according to a statement given to the AP by Obama's campaign.

I wish my blueberry pie had set right yesterday for my son's school party (his request). It's soup. Very disappointing. The apple pie for my daughter's class came out well, though. I'm thinking it's time for a pumpkin pecan pie this weekend.

9. World's best BB Pie!

4 Cups Blue Berries (Maine of course)
1 Cup sugar
1/4 Cup Minute Tapioca
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1/8 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Butter

Combine all but butter and let stand 15 minutes.
Put berries in crust and dot with butter.
Apply top crust, cut steam vents.
Bake 400 degrees 45 to 50 minutes or
till bubbles form that slowly burst through steam vents
and remove from oven to cool.
Pie MUST cool to thicken.

I've loved BB pie all my 66 yrs. without knowing what really good
BB pie was. My mother used to make super peach pie with tapioca so
I Googled till I found this recipe. Try it and you won't want any other.

I'd bet Obama would love some good blueberry pie, and maybe someone should take his aunt a care package, since her house is surrounded by the media hounds and will be for a week.
