Name That Criminal or How Many Of These Criminals Will Be Pardoned Before junior Rides Off Into The |

Sunset?
I've been thinking about all the harm dubya and his cronies have inflicted this country and it's people. Between homelessness in the US, suiciding soldiers, the Wall Street meltdown, loss of our Rights, torture, relaxation of business rules, outsourcing and the bloated military buget, we are fucked. Almost ready to drown in a bath tub as Grover Norquist would say.
I realize that my list is nowhere near complete, but it's a start. Please feel free to add nominees.
Scooter Libby (already pardoned) Jack Abramhoff JamesGannon John Bolton Douglas Feith Paul Wolfowitz Condi Rice Duke Cunningham Alberto Gonzoles John Yoo Dick Cheney Harriet Meyers Samuel Alito Michael Chertoff William Boykin Peter Pace Donald Rumsfeld Monica Goodling Michael Mukasey Heather Wilson George Deutsch James Connaughton Josh Bolten John Negroponte John Poindexter Gale Norton J. Steven Griles Donald Evans Elaine Chao Asa Hutchinson Thomas Scully Christine Whitman Michael Powell Arturo Duran Michael Brown Karl Rove Robert Somma
on edit to add: Teddy Stevens

1. My personal feeling is that |
|
all things being equal, Dubya and Cheney will pardon each other and leave the others to twist in the wind. The Bush Crime Family has no sense of loyalty.
But, in reality, Bush, like his father, will have to pardon anyone who could possibly incriminate him in future trials.
So, I'm guessing the pardon pen will start scratching out pardons on November 5 and won't stop until 11:59 a.m. on inauguration day.

I'm not sure I know what crimes all of them are supposed to have committed, but even assuming there is something for all of them, apart from possibly gonzales and rove, I don't see much likelihood of pardons being issued for others on that list (maybe Cunningham).

9. First of all, Libby has not bee pardoned |
|
Libby had his prison sentence commuted. As long as his appeal is pending, he has to keep his mouth shut (unless he wants to turn state's evidence).
Second, you left out Dr. Stephen Cambone, the Grand Inquisitor in the Pentagon's torture regime, and Judge Jay Bybee, who, like Professor Yoo, provided legal arguments to Mr. Bush for evading the Geneva Conventions.
Third, you should also include Katherine Harris and Ken Blackwell, who ought to be prosecuted for election fraud.

15. All of those, and more. |
|
I look for Bush to inoculate his administration from prosecutions and investigations by pardoning anyone with any real culpability.
