Seen the night sky this eve? Looks like a good sign to me. |
|
Just stepped out for a minute. In north central Florida. East coast on the beach. Small town. Saw a sliver of a new moon and one planety kind of thing to the west, and another planet type of entity to the east but higher up. In the southern sky. And both looking real ominous but in a very good way. The first sensation I had was, "Whoa, this is a good sign for the election". And it was a totally positive feeling. This was just a few moments ago (7:40est) Sat. eve. You can still step out and see it maybe. Something seemed very positive about it all. Just thought I'd mention.

1. I am in North Florida as well and just saw the sky |
|
Just went outside and thought that the sky looked absolutely beautiful.
So yes, I agree, A very good sign from the heavens.

|
clear, but with clouds towards the east. the moon and venus are both shining bright. at least i think it's venus. the whole sky seems a little purple-y.

4. Seems like Venus to me as well. Or even Jupiter. Although I think Jup is even brighter. |

They only care about fake after-lives. The beautiful night sky, filled with nebulas, clusters and galaxies hold no interest for them.
I, on the other hand, fully enjoy God's beauty. The Allegory of the Cave was written thousands of years ago, when people thought the world was flat and the Earth was center of everything. Knowing more than Plato, consider this next time you view the deep-sky.

8. Probably Venus and Mars... |
|
The Moon is late in Sagittarius, as is Venus. Mars is in Scorpio. Jupiter is in Capricorn, also very close. Venus is the planet of peace and Mars is the planet of war.

16. A little bit of everything, NightWatcher. We surf our little boats in the morning and use our long |
|
boats in the mangroves and intracoastal. It' quite a consuming lifestyle. You can PM me for more. We've been doing this for 20 years plus now. And have learned the in's and out's, the up's and down's as it were. I'm just down the road (or river) from you it seems.

and grew up in satellite bch. a lot of my misspent youth was misspent on the banana river. we take our tandem two lights out around mosquito lagoon every now and then -- i always see the most amazing wildlife there. we like to paddle the rivers, especially around wekiva and the silver river (monkeys!).

15. Jupiter and Venus, and you're absolutely right. |
|
Venus was just to the west of the sliver moon, and Jupiter is higher up. I believe their presence in the sky is particularly favorable right now.

A good time for positive change: an old cycle has finished and a new one is beginning.
Nov 1 is the first day of the new year to some Pagans, also.
