When this election is over can we GO AFTER Sarah Palin for Child Abuse? |
|
Shocking video from all the Cables showed repeated photos of Sara Palin and her kids "Trick or Treating" where she holds Downs Syndrome "Baby Trig" with less tenderness than anyone would hold an overloaded grocery bag while trying to retrieve car keys from pocket or purse.
She holds "Baby Trig" (with Downs Syndrome) face down, in that "bunny suit" she's had him dressed in all day through plane trips and last minute Campaign Whistle Stops and I wonder if he's even had his diaper changed!
No MOTHER HOLDS HER BABY...FACE DOWN while his little arms and legs flail..while entrapped in a Halloween Bunny Suit for a whole day! Mothers hold their babies in the crook of their arm, face up, or over their shoulder with their soft front parts next to their hearts and their eyes looking out on the world but their body protected.
Sarah Palin uses her baby, Trig, as a "prop" where he's always carried like a paper bag filled with "non-essentials" ready to be dropped or passed off or just left on the side of the road.
NO MOTHER carries a baby that's hers "upside down" with arms and legs flailing.
Sarah should be prosecuted for CHILD ABUSE!

17. Very long ears on that costume to be an Elephant...but then Palin Family is so disturbed |
|
maybe they confuse "bunnies with elephants"...it's hard to tell what that woman and family was thinking to put her forth as "heartbeat away from US Presidency." But, then one should never underestimate Repug "Family Values" which are so corrupt that one shouldn't ever take any of it seriously.

6. I think at the very least authorities in Alaska should be |
|
investigating her school age kids' prolonged absences from school. It's called truancy. I don't believe any state exempts children from school so they can be used as props in a political campaign. I've never seen a candidate show such obvious lack of interest in her own children's education.

Just add this to the list.
1. She endangered him at birth by not seeking medical attention as soon as her water broke.
2. She lets a 6 year old hold him.
3. She parades him around like a stuffed animal.
4. Kids with Downs are very susceptible to infection and often have heart problems. The last place that child needs to be is at a large public gathering - and nearly every damn day.
5. Her children appear to not be enrolled in school.
6. Her eldest has been involved in juvenile crime.
7. Her 16 year old daughter is pregnant.
There is so much here to hotline it's hard to tell where to start.

thanks for that list because it's an amazing record of what "Family Values" means to her and her "snow sports/oil rigging hubbie" believe about what's important to the Right Wingers that they cheer and applaud and flock to her rallies and that Neo-Con Bill Kristol and others of his camp see that woman as a "heart throb." Amazing the hypocrisy..isn't it... BARF!

11. As someone in the early intervention field |
|
I am very concerned about whether this family has received consultation from a physical therapist or occupational therapist about the baby's needs. Infants and children with Down syndrome have low muscle tone (in other words he tends to be limp and weak) and have very specific positioning and handling needs. This has important implications for the child's motor development and overall developmental progress. A whole lot can be done to support the development of infants with Down syndrome that makes a huge difference in their developmental outcome. If this family has not sought professional help and is not following through with good basic care and support for the baby it may border on neglect, if not abuse.

13. Thank you....all the videos of that family shoving that little baby around are so horrific |
|
that there is definitely something wrong with what they've been told as to how to deal with their "special needs" baby. But, I assume that in that family...it's Sarah's AMBITION that TRUMPS all.
It's very disturbing to see the dynamics of that family put forth as "FAMILY VALUES" for the REST OF US! :-(

18. Quick! Someone get this woman a copy of the US Constitution ! |
|
PALIN (describing yet again her scatterbrained understanding of the role of the VP): Well, they’ve to be exclusively, of course, concentrating on the administrative side of governance. And there again, that’s where my executive experience will be put to good use. But John McCain and I have spoken a lot about the missions that we’ll be on together and about where he would like to see me lead. And energy independence is first and foremost what I will be able to help, in a supportive role, be able to help him get this nation firmly on that path towards energy independence.

29. It was running on CNN/MSNBC all day along with the Obama video where |
|
he got a little "PO'd" at the reporters following him when he took his daughter Trick or Treating. I've checked You Tube and CNN for videos that were constantly running. Can't find it...but hoped that some DUer maybe caught it and will post. If you didn't see it you wouldn't get the full impact of how bad it was.
I will keep searching...but believe me it was running everywhere and I finally couldn't stand it anymore how she treats that baby so I posted about what I saw with the Trick or Treating but it's not the first time she's carried her "special needs baby" around like a bag of trash. She's done it ever since she was "selected."

33. A diaper change doesn't involve a change of outfit unless something goes horribly wrong. |
|
Wearing the same outfit all day doesn't mean that the kid's sitting in his own shit.
And carrying him the wrong way might be stupid, but it's not child abuse. Child abuse would be dangling him by one arm and causing his shoulder to go out of socket, or something.
Think, damn it.
