Obama made a nice point on the Rachel Maddow show about one big difference between him and McCain

Obama refuses to go after the Republican party as a whole. Hillary did it a lot. She lost.

McCain does it to us every time he refers to us as the Democrat party. And then in his next breath he asks for our vote. Whats up with that? Insult us and then ask us to vote for him?

All the stupid people I have known throughout my life all had the identical fatal flaw. They incorrectly assumed everyone else was just as stupid as they are.

The entirety of the Democratic campaign this year is that any given Republican represents Bush and more of the same. He talks about them taking responsibility for their failed trickle down policies all the time. He goes after the entirety of the policies - and leaves the "Republican" personality out of it.
