2. Shouldn't They Be In Church Praying Their Asses Off? |
|
I'd love to see the call volume these days...the Democratic lines are always jammed, while there are crickets on the GOOP side...why the fundies are getting through.
Ya gotta love the sound of desperation in the morning.

9. Each Day Is A New Surprise... |
|
The desperation isn't even masked now...each day I could the number of "fears" and "evils" of an Obama administration. I remember the deep pit in my stomache in 2004 thinking there'd be another 4 years of a national nightmare (which it was), and how these people are starting to see their party is over...and we're talking days and hours...and they're throwing any and all fears they can...one last gasp of a spent ideology and party.
The best line I heard was, from all people, Jay Leno...he joked that Gramps was campaigning the other deay in Defiance...next will come Resignation, Acceptance... (we may have seen that last night on SNL).

I wonder how much real "faith" they have in their positions. Some obsesss about the "rights" of the unborn yet care little about what happens after that unborn is born...or for the welfeare of the mother. Too many hypcrisies for these people to overcome this year.
Cheers...

You got that right. But I think the truth is they really have no idea what rights are all about, not in the sense the founders conceived of them. They are kind of the, if it feels good and makes us feel important, then it must be the right Christian thing to do.

3. Is today supposed to be different for some reason? |
|
As long as I can remember, every day on DU starts off with the observation that whackaloons are calling in to WJ. If someone reported that only liberals were phoning in, THAT would be news.

4. Yes, if only the horrible media would go into detail... |

about their respective positions on abortion, that would turn the electorate to McCain. Because, as we all know, abortion is THE most important issue in this election. :eyes:

8. Yeah, and Zogby is doing his daily schick for the GOP - shows |
|
McInsane up by one point in a one day poll. Said he needs two days for a "trend." Why C-Span is so joined at the hip with Zogby is a mystery to me. Still yammering about how this race could take another turn IF Obama makes a colossal mistake, etc. Did say the six point lead by Obama will make it harder for McInsane. Ya think? It is now CYA time for Zogby.

Even Zogby can't help Gramps. At this stage it's very hard to see McCain turning it around.

I missed the beginning part, but he ended up saying something about abortion.
It was wacky, I wish I had been paying more attention.

|
and if they vote for Obama they'll have blood on their hands because he supports abortion. He didn't take his meds this morning - the time change and all. :hi:

I thought I had heard the part about having blood on their hands because Obama supports abortion.
Good grief. I've been up and have had enough coffee, but that comment took the cake and I thought I heard it wrongly.
