3. Because its their polls
News networks always pimp THEIR polls as THE polls that matter. I would expect the same behavior from CBS too.

4. They all know it's over anyways ...

All these guys know the election is over anyway. McCain has to win ALL the swing states to win. It's not going to happen.

5. because they did it in conjunction with NBC....
that's what they all do when their in-house polls come in

on other stations it seems clear that even the pug analysts, except for the delusionals, like Fund, Blakemore, etal, are giving up in a most obvious way.

that includes, so far, Alex Castellanos, Ed Rollins, George Will, and Mark Halperin, who claims to be nonpartisan, but is a worse pugshill than most beCAUSE of his purported objectivity

9. halperin is one of my 'favorites'
have you read Lap Dogs...Boehlert's book on the media?

he has a chapter on ABC's The Note, which Halperin started. I think you can get a long excerpt online if you google around

that book is well worth reading

he nails the liberal media myth better than just about anyone

6. Controversy keeps us glued to tv. If they were honest, we'd all be at the movies!
