1. Wouldn't it be great
if Texas went blue? It would be just another peg in the lesson that the repubs need to learn about how unpopular their views are and what a poor job the majority of us know they have done.

2. I went to the polls in Brazoria County early to vote for my beloved Lampson,
who was brave enough to stand up against the billionaire bailout. This heavily red county south of houston is now one of the fastest growing in the nation due to it's new suburbs filled with people who could vote either way. I believe my precinct (58) and the other very new one (59) will go for Obama. The county itself will go red I predict, but we are gaining strength here. To answer your immediate question I spun the dial for straight dem ticket and at the very least it goes to the popular vote.

4. Wow - do you really think so? The Chron said the polls were showing
McCain with a good lead. Is that changing? Hallelujah if that's true!

5. Depends on how motivated the McCain voters are
turnout is up all over the state. Early voting totals shattered records in every county in the state. I would not be surprised to see almost 100% turnout in some if not all predominantly African-American precincts. But, the polls may be correct & we're still controlled by asshats (as well as DINOS like Henry Cuellar who are supporting McCain).

Maybe they don't poll new and lapsed voters and undercount minorities, (excuse me, they are the majority)? Maybe 55% of Texans aren't retarded? Hope springs eternal.

9. Frist time voter
At 28 lol. I never gave a shit about anything till 2004. But I didnt vote in 2004 cause I figured Texas would be a lost cause. I voted this year and so did a lot of my friends who are first time voters. I figure if we voted then anything is possible.

12. I did like the idea of voting against republican sheriffs
I also voted no on extending term limits to city councilmen.
