Asking my African American friends on the board, please, please
tell me about your church services this morning. Was there a lot of great singing, quiet praying, restrained or gushing discussion about Tuesday? I don't mean from the pulpit, 'cause I know that wouldn't be right like in some churches. The reason I ask is that two of the ladies here in my building go to the local Baptist church and their son/nephew just dropped them off. They are both so joyously happy, smiling and in such great moods. To tell the truth, and of course they're being cautious, they have been laying low. They know I'm an Obama supporter and talk a little to me, but quiet restraint or not showing up on the patio (our gossip spot)in the last two weeks or so.

I would have LOVED to have been there and hope there were inspirational services, especially for African Americans, all over the country. Please do tell this lapsed Catholic who did not go to Mass this morning...LOL.

1. What's that old term??
"A joyful noise"

That's what I want Wednesday morning.

The sounds of bells ringing and laughter and knowing glances and smiles from folks we don't know because...

Well, you know.

2. My trip to the local Publix will be great, cashiers, friends in Produce Dept.
behind the deli counter, all of us Obama supporters. Can't wait to go. A public place like that is a good temperature taking venue. The noise level will be unbelievable, you betcha!

3. I wish I could help you.
But, this Black Catholic decided I wouldn't go to Mass until they take down the tiny crosses in the front lawn. Makes it look like Halloween year round.

6. Decoration? I wish.
It's supposed to represent mini graves for unborn aborted blastocysts.
