Question re: Joe the Biden |
|
When I first heard McCain say this (several times over the past couple of weeks), I thought it was an accident, that he couldn't get his old brain around the two speech patterns "Joe the Plumber" and "Joe Biden." You know, a sign of his elderliness.
However, now it seems like he is saying it on purpose. Is there some joke I don't get? What's a "Biden"?

2. I guess I just don't see the joke. |

I agree it sounded like he was trying to be sarcastic, but if that's true, shouldn't he have said, "Joe the Senator" or "Joe the Rich Man" or "Joe the Speechmaker" (that last one would even be a two-fer on the funny scale).
The guy can't even make a joke. What an ass.
