I waited in line for 5 hours to vote last week in Fayette county and was stunned at how many people in line were willing to openly volunteer that they were there to vote for Barack Obama. First off, I've never had anyone volunteer their choice to me. Ever. Secondly, Fayette County generally goes Republican in every race on the entire ticket as far as I can tell.
It was like the twilight zone and I'm sure what to make of it.

I have Georgia in my EV prediction for Obama so it wouldn't really be a surprise if he won.
The seat that would surprise me is my Congressman, Thaddeus McCotter in the 11th district of Michigan. I haven't seen any ads for this race so it's clearly not in play. It could have been won by a well-funded and well-known candidate. I'll cross my finger :)
