When do campaigning ads officially end? |
|
Is there any legal requirement that campaign ads (e.g. television, radio, robo-calls) end by a certain time before election day or do they continue through as long on Tuesday as they want? Also when do the candidates on both side stop their last rallies, is it on Monday night? I just want to get a sense on when we can expect the outcome to be totally dependent on the GOTV operation without advertising swaying people.

5. I'm surprised that all (or most) states don't have laws about this... |

... in Canada, there is (I think) a 24 hour ad blackout before the polls open.
