Did I hear Scar say Republican pols were telling him this election was over two weeks ago? |
|
About a half an hour ago he said it. I was half a sleep at the time.

1. I think Scar said Florida was over |
|
Was also half asleep here but I think he said that a politician in Florida told him that the early voting for Obama in Florida was huge. That Obama is running a 7 week get out the vote effort and McCain a 72 hour one.

|
Late last week. She told me she thought she should have started getting that stuff months ago. Its too late now she said.

I heard Rachel Maddow say, "McCain could win". I almost wrecked my car! What happened to Rachel? Is working at MSNBC messin' with her head?

It is hard to hear, but I know that's the key issue she is driving. I also think she is incredibly superstitious and that's ok, after all our devastating disappointments the past 8 years.

9. I think Rachel is just superstitious (she'd say cautious), but... |
|
I don't mind her putting a few breaks out there, because it is true we have been burned by failure to show up to vote in previous years and the obstacles to voting have never been greater in most states.
But, her constant negative downbeat is hard to take and I do admittedly tune her out when she is on one of those rants. Thank God for David Bender, who offsets her with his rational, cautious, but very clear optomism--at least when she appears on AAR.
