The two Montreal comedians who punked Palin were on CBS this morning.

They do this sort of thing often. There have only been two people who didn't get it before they explained the joke.

Brittany Spears and Sarah Palin.

And as the guy who did the most talking in the interview said ..... there's no chance Brittany would ever be the US president.

5. The tape I heard had "Sarkozy" clear as a bell, but Palin not so clear...

...it stands to reason that on Palin's end, she may not have been able to hear clearly as we the listeners did on our end, or understand what he was talking about (IE the Nailin Palin bit - I wouldn't be surprised if they have shielded her from that anyway)

I don't think Palin is smart or qualified, but I don't think her reaction to that call constitutes "proof". She took it on face value that the call was authentic. If anything it shows the incompetence of her assistants for letting the call through.


I thought the call was only borderline funny, and the "Nailin Palin" part crossed the line into being a bit mean.

6. Bible Spice Was Set Up

Not to knock the ability these guys have to bullshit past secretaries and PR people, the call and the timing struck me as being quite suspect. If you or I tried calling the Caribou Barbie traveling road show, we'd get the roundaround...someone on the inside had to know what was coming and set it up. The humiliation, along with Gramps letting SNL trash her as well seems like there's some "payback" for Mooselini deciding to go "Rogue". I am also very suspect of the Mittens people working in Camp Gramps...the more she gets knocked down, the better for them.
