There's always a chance that a few might get hurt though. I will be lighting some tomorrow night when they call it. I'm also a trained pyrotechnician though, so no need to worry about me.

11. I actually witnessed school bus loads of burley white men headed

towards Center City Philadelphia last Thursday night, presumably extra police from elsewhere for the gigantic parade for the Philles on Broad Street the next day. I'm wondering if this extra muscle is hanging around for the election results.

Seeing those buses reminded me of the bus loads of cops with blackedout windows I used to see headed toward various hotspots in DC when I lived there.

Visits by Benjamin Netanyahu, for example, always wound up resembling preparations for post-Apocolyptic riots. Helicopters, road blocks, entire streets cleared of parked cars by convoys of towtrucks, etc.
