ad in heavy rotation along with Difi's. It's going to be close and hopefully it will fail.

about 44-yes and 49-no and 7-undecided
I have heard a few things, but does it need 50 to pass?

4. you can't vote "undecided" on a prop. No on 4 as well. |

5. I didn't mean like that |
|
I mean that last I heard 7% of the people they have polled didn't know if they were choosing yes or no.

9. ok then that's not a vote for either, why in the hell would anyone leave it blank |
|
is beyond me. Once again, no runoff, whichever side gets more votes.

7. my personal sense is that it's looking bad.... |

I haven't seen any polls though. That's just my gut feeling. If Prop 8 is defeated, it'll be a squeeker-- and, unfortunately, it will be back. The fundies never take no for an answer. The parental notification proposition is on its third try. The referendum system here lets them just keep resurrecting that damned thing year after year, as long as they've got churches to get out the signatures. The same thing will happen with Prop 8 if it fails.

10. Help Preserve Marriage! |
|
Vote NO on 8. I've seen some signs that say just that. Good strategy to get the morons to vote No.
Another I've seen is:
Vote No! On the Gay Marriage Amendment.
Getting the left-hand end of the bell curve to vote No! is easy.

(last week), it was neck and neck. I swear every single fundie church around here must have ordered 1M of those "yes on 8" signs because they are EVERYWHERE! Unfortunately, the "no on 8" drive didn't have the funding of the Catholic Church, Mormons and every other fundie religion that the "yes on 8" vermin did. I'm hoping that with the record turnout, and record Democrat turnout at that, Prop. 8 will be defeated. Other than the Presidential race, this is THE most important issue for me right now.
