The freaky fundie lady at work has gone all Drama Queen on us today....
Edited on Mon Nov-03-08 12:55 PM by marmar
All of a sudden, the future of America is bleak, bleak, bleak....The country as we know it is going to be forever changed.....Nothing will ever be the same again....
The right-wing drama queen is spouting that to anyone she can corner today. This is the same woman who talked about how wonderful things were, even as her husband's hours (he works at Wal-Mart) were trimmed to avoid classifying him as full-time, and who rails against universal health care even as she complains about astronomical medical bills.
It's all quite entertaining. I'm sitting at my computer with a Chicken Caesar wrap and a 20-ounce Mountain Dew and just listening to this nutcase.

1. Glad you're entertained, marmar. You start some really good threads
and point us to some good articles, but sometimes I worry that you might get depressed from reading all that depressing stuff. :-) :hi:

lady might end up taking a horrible accidental fall down a flight of stairs.

almost 8 years ago thanks to the likes of her.

Hope she feels as stressed and worried for the next four as I have for the last eight... goofy bitch.

6. No one at my small civil engineering office discusses politics which is wonderful.
Edited on Mon Nov-03-08 01:08 PM by CottonBear
A few of us Democrats discuss politics outside of the office. I have found that in a professional office, there is no reason to discuss politics. I also avoid all discussions of politics with my clients.

edit: I'm sorry that you have to listen to this woman at work.

10. The prevailing political sentiment in my office is pro-Democrat, sometimes vocally so.....
..... so I used to feel kind of bad for Freaky Fundie Lady, but then she opens her mouth.

7. "The rest of us don't want the type of country you want"
How about that for a comeback?

Somebody needs to tell these earnest fascists that their dream belongs in the Germany of the 1930s, not here and now.

8. LOL, we have a client very much like that.
The whole failure of the McPain campaign, according to her, is the fault of the media and he is now even coming down on Faux News. We are going to great lengths to screen mr. tosh's calls now so he doesn't have to listen to it daily.

19. But you know
I'll bet her life won't really change much at all. She'll go to the same church, watch the same TV, etc. It's in her head. An EEEEVIL liberal! And actually, given her situation, she ought to eventually see some safety nets she and hubby can relax into. Maybe that will help her settle down. Or not. Some people will chew on things until their teeth fall out.

11. I Work With A Guy Like That
And he will still vote for McCain. I can't imagine why someone like him will continually kick himself in the nuts election after election. Makes you wonder how many times he burned his hands on a hot stove growing up. I don't get it, a union man too with the same gripes as most of us....until election time. He just can't bring himself to vote against the Republican party, even when he knows it's not in his best interests. Go figure!

20. We had a guy...
who was laying all this end-times prophecy on us a while back. You know, real Biblical end of the world as God's wrath is poured out in judgment kind of stuff. I didn't know an election was even discussed in Revelation. Anyway, I whipped out my trusty Bible and asked him where the part he was telling us about was located. That was a real conversation killer for him because he didn't know. Oh well, it wasn't in there anyway.

Tell her she is free to choose a one-way ticket for the overseas destination of her choice. :eyes:

Didn't they always like to say 'America. Love it or leave it'?
