Volunteering tomorrow
What have you signed up to do to help Obama finish strong tomorrow? They will not turn away volunteers. I am waiting to find out if I am driving or if I am knocking on people's doors to remind them to vote. And you???

1. I get to take people to the polls
I love that job and this year it is going to be even better with all the excitement and hope in the air.

6. Good going!
That is exactly what Ohio needs. A good Dem eagle eye on the GOP shenanigans.

8. Hi there Birthday!
Gee, you look familiar... where have I seen you before???

I am working for Counsel for Change - doing voter protection.

I am currently wearing my "Official Florida Presidential Ballot" tshirt, as a reminder of what can happen if we are not diligent.

11. Hi, Lefta.
Lefta? I thought that the voter protection was left mostly to the attorneys. Have you been going to night school or something?

9. Health permitting, "chauffering" voters to the polls
(The "health" part is not a horrible affliction, but could keep me home most of the day.)

I myself will be at the polls when they open the doors at 7 AM.

10. I'm taking tomorrow and the 5th off
I hope they need drivers tomorrow. I'm horribly shy and probably shouldn't be trying to persuade people to vote for anything, but I can have a full tank of gas and drive all day.

And then get very, very drunk and bike home to sleep until the 6th.

12. Canvassing tomorrow is,
I think, simply reminding people to vote. At least that's what the Obama guy said here. So, you don't need to do anything more than say, "Vote!", smile, and go on to the next house.
