3. it will be close

All polls have been within the margin of error. Prior to the Hardball appearance Bachmann was up 4. Bachmann has been playing ad after ad. There are at least 3 colleges in the area, all of which have great GOTV effort going on. They have probably not been counted in the survey because they won't be included as likely voters and the cell phone issue.

I personally knocked on 123 doors on Saturday, and will be phone calling this evening. We are doing everything we can, but it will be close.

5. What is your sense of the people in the district?
There haven't been that many polls that I can see.

14. That poll has been notoriously wrong (and right-leaning) all year
I have been predicting a Tinklenberg victory since before her Hardball appearance. But she's got the home schoolers out for her today:

9. Looks like a toss up
Until Michele came down with a serious case of foot-in-mouth disease, it wasn't this close, was it?

10. Not my district, but...
I live quite close to that district, and it is way too close to call. We're not going to know what happens until sometime Wednesday, I think.

Still, the newspaper in St. Cloud, probably the largest city in the district, endorsed Tinklenberg, and even the local conservoradio talkers have aired Bachmann's stupidity again and again.

It's going to be a squeaker, though, since that district is pretty solidly Repugnicant in nature. I have my fingers crossed for Tinklenberg. Bachmann is a maroon.

11. Everyone is rooting for Tinklenberg.
That image of her grabbing onto W at the State of the Union speech says volumes about her.

13. And yet...there's more...
She's a hoot; that's what she is.

She said that God told her to run.
Her church denomination (Wisconsin Synod Lutheran) believes that the Roman Catholic Church is the antichrist. It's in their doctrine.
She groped GWB, of all people. Who on earth would want to grope GWB.
She believes that over-regulation of the banking industry caused the current economic problems.
She sees folks with "Anti-American" views under every bush.
And speaking of bushes, she was photographed hiding behind a bush, spying on a gay rights gathering.

She's a wackadoo, but she's her district's Repugnicants' wackadoo.

Fingers are crossed.
