15. Can we get an honorable mention for the Red Sox?
John Henry and Theo Epstien are always stumping for us. they have to do something to neutralize the RW blowhard Schilling. If I'm not mistaken, John Henry (and Manny) called in sick when they won the first world series and were invited to the white house.

Solid Democrats.....

The Lions are owned by the Fords and the Pistons by Bill Davidson. I'm not sure about their politics, but my guess would be Repug.

28. Welcome to DU
Sorry you are a Cub fan 1908 ---2???
Life long Chicagoan and must Cub fans I know are Repubs
IE Sox fans are blue collar working Dems, most Cub fans are old yuppies who can go to day games and get drunk and rowdy.
Remember that the Cubs until last season were owned by the se;f proclaimed Worlds Greatest Newspaper the Chicago Tribune. The Trib also owned one of the first cable superstation WGN so the gospel of Wrigley Field was spread countrywide. For Information only of course the Chicago Tribune in its 160+ year history had never endorsed A Democrat for President until this year!

not with this "buy us a new stadium or we get out of Dodge" crap and "we're going on strike and canceling the rest of the season 'cause we're so mis-tweated" bullshit.

They can all lose, as far as I'm concerned.

35. Of course the sorry-ass Bidwills (Arizona Cardinals) are on the Repuke side.
Repukes are as successful at governing as the Cardinals have been in the postseason.

For those of you that don't follow football, the Cards have won a grand total of TWO playoff games in their 88+ year history.
