Haley Barbour has perhaps the most annoying voice of any politician I know.

I'm not a Southerner and don't sound anything at all like one. I have lived in the South for many years, however. Some of that time in Memphis (Stone throwing distance to Mississippi). As you say, I never heard anyone talk like him.

Just like Idiot Son. No one in Texas has that accent. No one.

Yes, he's from Mississippi and so am I. I know the accents of the region. Barbour's is cultivated
Republican racist group accent. It's carefully spoken so as to accurately signal what they stand for.
