Nearly came to blows with a freeper tonight at rally in Ft. Lauderdale

My wife and I and about ten others rallied with our Obama signs in downtown Ft. Lauderdale during rush hour this evening.
Everyone was upbeat and we were getting many honks and very few middle fingers.
Then this bigger single guy in dark glasses shows up carrying two yard signs of Allen West the opponent of Ron Klein. He was innocent enough, holding his signs walking back and forth the length of the corner, but then he started walking in the street shouting at passing cars. "Stop the Marxists! Stop the Communists!."
I didn't even mind his rants as i believe in freedom of speech for all. Even dummies. But when he got into a shouting match with my wife and called her a 'fucking communist bitch' it went too far. I dropped my sign ran over to him, got in his face and demanded he take off his glasses and apologize to my wife or else. Big pussy. He knew I wasn't backing down though all the other folks were telling me how it "wasn't worth it' etc. He stared me down (at least I think he did because he still had his sunglasses on), then walked away screaming about calling the police because I assaulted him.
The cops showed up and were met by an Veteran for Obama supporter (Korean War, Purple Heart, also called a Marxist by this psycho), who told them the story. The police then proceeded to pull this jerk aside and after five minutes or so of questioning and ranting he left with his glasses off, finally showing his fearful, hateful eyes and moving to another corner. The police thanked us for not being difficult and left the scene with no arrests or tickets.

Don't let these fake bullies get away with anything. Stand them down and they will slink away.
