Light a candle for Obama, his family and his Grandma
I'm going to light a few and hope we can light up hundreds of candles. It's a thoughtful gesture of kindness, something I think he might need to see him through his loss. It's pretty simple and straightforward. Thanks ahead fellow DUers!:grouphug:

Jim Martin pauses of a moment of silence after it was announced that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Payne Dunham, had died during a rally on the capitol steps in Atlanta, Monday, Nov. 3, 2008. Martin is challenging incumbent Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss for his seat in the U.S. senate.

11. Go to the 'Obama Group' and click on an unlit candle.
It will bring you to a page where you can enter a message and your initials.

21. To the PUMAs who lit candles ...
A woman died. The candles are to honor her memory and to show support for her family. Was it really necessary to add hate, bitterness and anger into a memorial? :eyes: :grr:

24. Don't read them. It will only piss you off.
One of the friends I sent the link to went there to light a candle and she alerted me to one of their horrid remarks. I won't give their words any power by repeating them here. Filthy pond scum! No respect for the dead. :puke:
