1. They're absolutely delusional.

It's the same basic mentality as the show trials in the Soviet Union. Everyone knew they were a farce, but saying it out loud would get you sent to the gulag. Of course, she thought that the first set of findings found her completely not guilty of anything, so I can only imagine the spin here.

Thank God she goes back to obscurity in two days.

4. The problem is the party has no shortage of Palins.

Tom DeLay for one. This is a guy who should be rotting in a prison cell, but is on talk shows talking about the immorality of Obama.

How about Karl Rove? Flaunting the ignoring of subpoenas while appearing on FAUX news, while Mukasey covers for him. Conyers doesn't push back, because they've silenced him with goods on his wife.
