Great election story: Gore-Lieberman ticket lives on in a Waxahachie lawn
>>>snip
The ubiquitous campaign signs are an opportunity for homeowners to publicly express their political opinions. But as reporter Stella Chavez learned, they can also be used to express a sense of humor:

I thought I was seeing things while driving by a Waxahachie home earlier today.

There on the front lawn was a Gore/Lieberman 2000 sign.

Could it be an expression of nostalgia? A protest against both presidential candidates? Or perhaps a Republican household engaging in mockery of Democrats?

As it turned out, none of the above.

A woman who answered the door smiled and explained it was her husband's doing.

"It's my husband's attempt at humor," she said. "He has never really supported Bush. He's never liked Bush."
