So what's the weather forecast where you're at?
Here in Eastern Iowa it's going to be a beautiful day, 70's and sunny. That should help voter turnout. But I suspect that even if it was cold and rainy, turnout would be fantastic and it would still be a nice day.
Note- In Chicago it's supposed to be about as nice as it will be here. The million person mass should be comfortable.

4. It's still too early to know for sure, but judging from the polls...
Edited on Tue Nov-04-08 06:45 AM by xochi
the "weather" in this country is starting to look a little better than it has for the last eight nightmarish years. :-)

Here in Hawai`i, it's: PARTLY CLOUDY WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS
WINDWARD AND MOUNTAINS. MOSTLY CLEAR LEEWARD. HIGHS 83 TO 88. LOWS
68 TO 73. EAST WINDS 10 TO 15 MPH. And humid, with much of the state getting some vog from the volcanoes on the Big Island, which occurs whenever our usual trade winds die down.

15. I don't have tix either
But I can tell you from experience that Grant Park will hold around 750,000 people. I (sort of) saw Bonnie Raitt up there a few years ago at Blues Fest. So maybe they'll let stragglers hang around.

It is a good for voting. I am leaving to vote in ten minutes when the polls open here in pa. They had trouble getting the touch screen machines running for the last Pres. election. I want to make sure some one is overseeing things from our side. I will be driving folks to polls later.

26. Wet, dark, and cool.
Out here in the Seattle area (I would suppose it would be the heart of latte liberalism) it is cool and wet.

Then again, this is Seattle, in November. That its cool and wet is not so bad. We don't have high winds, so the Seattlites will likely brave the liquid sunshine to vote (those who didn't vote by mail, already)

That never bodes well for Democrats in my area. That usually means low Democrat turnout. :(
