3. Lose barely.
I think Barkley (SP?) could be too big a drain. And also, despite Coleman's unpopularity, I just don't think Franken is that big a hit with Minnesotans. But I'd love to be proven wrong.

5. Hardest race to call
VA, NM, CO, NH, AK, NC ,OR = DEM GAIN

GA, KY, MS = R HOLD

MN is a coin clip, I'd guess Coleman by a point or 2.

6. Yes...
Norm's a crook and a turd. MNers will reject that reject.

7. At least WCCO-CBS News backed Franken up on the Coleman lawsuit smear last night
They had a short interview with the Republican that brought the suit and he said it was about money, not politics.

8. Too close to call
It may be a few hundred votes or less separating them. Could even be a runoff (if they have runoffs in MN).

9. NOPE
They don't. And it's a 3-way race so a runoff would be certain if they had them, but they don't.

11. Niether He Or Coleman May Win
This is gonna be one of the races to watch all night. The independent is playing a real wildcard in this race...sucking votes from both Al and Coleman. This race has a similar feel as the Governor's race that Ventura won.

The wildcard here is if Coleman's financial games will come home to hurt him as well as a backlash against the GOOP. Another race that I'll be checking regularly...as I know others will, is Bachmann/Tinklenberg...it could be a long night.

12. 2 more votes
My granddaughter lives in MN and she and her husband are voting for Al. I have sent Al money 4 times this year. I can't vote for him as I live in WI.

14. Of all the seats, that's the one I hope for the most
Besides the raised level of humor he'll bring to the senate, he's a great thinker and the people of MN deserve the ouster of Coleman.

He's definately a fighter.
