Just wanted to wish everyone a great day today, and hope that everyone remains safe. This is not just our day, but a day so many people have been waiting for. A day to let our voices be heard, and to take back our government and change the policies that have hurt so many.
I am not a long timer here, but today I stand with you all. Good luck all, and God bless. GO OBAMA!!!

I feel incredible to have finally voted! I was there shortly after the polls opened. I only had to wait 2 hours to vote for Obama today. South Carolina didn't have early voting, so by the time I left, the lines were outrageously long. I'm glad I got there early, but I would have waited ANY amount of time to vote for this incredible young man. By the way, the atmosphere was very peaceful. I know everyone has counted SC. out as a McCain state, but I'm not so sure after hearing the whispers in line. As you do, I stand with you all here at DU and Dems across America!!!! History is today and the United States can finally begin the process of regaining her dignity (and sanity). :woohoo:
