No need to tell them how you will vote

Other than that, call the local dem office and see if they have a rides program, too. And did you post this in the VA forum? Maybe a VA DUer will step up.

26. I'm In Charlottesville
and just came home for lunch. I found an Obama
volunteer on my porch. He had come by to give me a ride if I needed one.
I hadn't even asked for a ride. Besides,I already voted this morning but
thanked him for the effort as he checked me off his list.

Keep calling the local office. I'm betting someone will answer in time.

ALL of those out helping to GOTV are the true heroes of democracy.

66. Me too. I have been traveling on business and worrying about this. Just got home
last night. Called this morning and sure enough, none of their McCain supporting relatives would even bother to drive across town to take them to the polls. I was so pissed. They are both Bi-polar and have such a hard time with these things. Knew I had to do something and knew DU would be the place. I am just so touched by all the support. This is DEMOCRACY at work.
