I received a GOTV email from the Republicans!?!

I have no idea how they got my email - I suspect a friend may be punking me. Here's the text (with a few comments)

Tomorrow is Election Day.

It’s up to the voters -- and it’s up to you.

The Presidential Race is a dead heat. :wtf: And there are dozens of key congressional races across the country that are too close to call.

That’s why we need you to go to the polls and vote for John McCain, Sarah Palin -- and our Republican House Candidates. And we need you to urge everyone to vote, too.

If Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi control the government, can you imagine the liberal laws that will be created? Why, yes, yes I can & it makes me weep with joy

Higher taxes, mandated national health care, amnesty for illegal immigrants, leaving Iraq before the job is finished, continued dependency on foreign oil, abortions on demand ... the list will go on and on.

So, do you want liberal policies like higher taxes , mandated national health care, amnesty for illegal immigrants, dependency on foreign oil, and abortion on demand?

If the answer is NO, then it is critical that you vote tomorrow -- and take family and friends with you. If our supporters don't go to the polls, we could lose some very important races. And if that happens, America will be put on a path we will not soon recover from.

Friend, your vote could mean the difference between a Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid liberal trifecta dictating the future of our country -- or conservative Republican leadership pushing for tax cuts, energy independence and no amnesty for illegal immigrants.

That's why your vote is critical.

Please, be sure to vote tomorrow for John McCain, Sarah Palin and our great Republican House candidates. There is so much at stake.
