I'm not getting a damn thing done at work
I think my productivity will pick up 100% after tonight, all I have done for weeks is watch the polls and read DU!

Two more hours and I'm outta here. For now I'm hitting the refresh button every few minutes.

4. That is why I took the last two days off and got involved
I am managing the GOTV effort from my house this weekend. Right now waiting for canvassers to return and new volunteers to show up.

We have contacted everyone in our city 1 and working on a second pass and a third if we have time. Trying to make sure they get to the polls.

It's a slow time at work, boss is cool.

If it wasn't for the T1 internet speeds at work, I would probably have stayed home. No cable so Internet is where I get my info.

Darn, I knew there was something I was supposed to be doing.

Frankly, I expect tomorrow to be worse.

10. My Republican friends don't understand why I'm acting like it's Xmas
They're all down in the mouth, dragging themselves out to vote and returning with grim looks.

Meanwhile I'm as anxious and excited as a father awaiting the birth of his firstborn child.

LUCKILY, I have a VERY understanding (and very Pro-Obama) boss that is cool with it, as long as I send her the latest updates as I get them :) (and I'm lucky to have a job that I can cram for an hour or two, and then take an hour or two down).
