This morning I woke up with my two twins, 4 years old. I asked them, "Do you know what today is?"
Skyler: yes, it's election day
Me: Who do you think is going to win.
Skyler: I know who is going to win. I'm sure of it. It's Obama.
Me: How do you know?
Skyler: Because he got all the hard questions right.
Me: Oh. What does it mean if he wins?
Skyler: It means he gets to be Star of the Day for 2 whole months! And he gets to have lots of money!
(I know that came from our discussions of George Bush in the past)
Oren: No, it means he's going to give money to poor people who don't have any. And he decides what to do with the country.
You heard it here first. You can turn off the TV now and rest easy.
My kids are always right.

Just because I have 4yr old twins too! They are pretty positive of an Obama win also. Their 6yr old brother wore his Kids for Obama button to school today and they thought he was so cool.

Fuck that... the President is not a King or a dictator. The Constitution decides far more than any President.

I'm sure you were much better informed politically at that age. :sarcasm:

Twice as fun as singletons! :)
Mine are pushing 2, and I love hearing them say "Obama." Mind you, it takes a little prompting, but I love it nonetheless.

12. the short post is completely understood. |

I know how demanding twins are.
I feel really lucky. Alot of people with twins about the same age as mine talk about the fighting. My boys seem like they are going to grow up being great friends. Sure there is a little fighting, but they both seem to look out for each other most of the time. I'm sure there will be plenty of changes in the next few years so I'm not counting any chickens yet.
