Help stop the meme. Palin's experience isn't the issue. |
|
Yes, she's inexperienced. But that's not the real reason we don't want her anywhere near the White House.
However, the media -- and some of us -- keep repeating the meme that people oppose her because she's inexperienced. Inexperience can be overcome. Look for the wingers to use the next four years to get her some experience. A slew of speaking engagements, a few trips to meet foreign leaders as part of a right-wing think tank, a ghost-written book, some magazine articles, and lots of face time on Faux Noise.
Then, she'll be trotted out as "experienced."
The problem with Sarah is that she is a dangerous ideologue with bizarre foundational beliefs and unAmerican religious beliefs. She's corrupt, arrogant, and a bully. That's why she shouldn't be allowed to hold national office.
So, when someone mentions her inexperience, tell them that's not really important and tell them the real reason we want to never see Sarah again.

6. I don't think she will survive the next 4 years politically |
|
She's too much of a diva now. She will get herself into trouble up there in Alaska soon enough. The polish has fallen off her star and I think our compatriots up in the Land of the Midnight Sun will have her number soon enough. She just can't help herself when it comes to abusing her power.

9. An idiot whose schooling has trained her to be a local 6:00 news presenter. |
|
That point hes been driven home to me every time I see her speak in public, particularly in the debate.
Incapable of thinking on her feet, devoid of intellectual curiosity (or so it seems) and astoundingly ignorant of the world around her tiny corner of Alaska.

12. It has served us in a small way though.. |

I was talking to a friend of my Mother-in-law's today, and of course we talked about politics. She said "I've voted Republican my whole life, and I like John McCain...but that woman is a fool and I'll be DAMNED if I vote for her."

While she might have more experience in four more years, she will remain an idiot incapable of little more than spouting slogans and reading a teleprompter.

8. The Alaskan gubernatorial election is in 2010. |
|
Let's support Palin's opponent. If Palin is defeated in 2010, then nobody will take her seriously in 2012.

after some guy named Bill Clinton was defeated for a second term as governor in Arkansas in 1980, no one ever heard from him again. Good plan.

11. It's her narrow world view that bothers me |
|
I know lots of people who can't affortd to travel but that doesn't appear to have been her problem. She didn't get a passport until 2007. How can anyone who supposedly wants to be leader of the free world not have any interest in seeing any of it?
We don't need another intellectually incurious person running things. She's Bush in a skirt. We don't need to go there again.

16. It is Impossible for any Religious Extremist To represent Americans |
|
People who are religious extremists only care about their own ideology and those that follow it. They are inherently totalitarian...
Americans are very diverse, too diverse for the likes of people who claim those of us who do not follow their ideology are unamerican. Well actually, the opposite is true...
