Some thoughts on the motivation gap... |
|
I work with a guy who is unaffiliated with either political party and is a religious conservative. He lives in VA and decided it wasn't worth waiting in line to vote McCain/Palin, but would have waited 6-8-10 hours to vote for Ron Paul. He doesn't think Palin is a very good Cristian. I think if he is sufficiently put off to not show up and vote, would that mean that the conservative enthusiasm gap may help us win. Still, I am not happy with people not voting, but it will help down ticket races.
What do all of you think? Are there people in your lives who are sufficiently less than enthused to vote? Are they conservatives? Apathetic?

supposed McCain supporters that didn't vote at all. They were more anti-Obama people but were not wowed by McCain. I would just as soon they stayed home with their reasoning but they better watch it if they complain in the next 4 years.
