Appreciation for Mrs. Robinson and family friends.....

Michelle's mother and Barack's MIL has really been the glue to hold down the fort while Michelle and Barack have embarked on the biggest happening of their lives. Mrs. Robinson and family friends have made it possible to care for the girls, see that their dancing classes were attended, homework was done, Grandma's cooking, etc. Family friends providing transportation to and fro, sleep-overs and in general, making the girls feel happy and secure in the absence of their parents.

I don't doubt for a moment that Barack is more a son than son-in-law to Mrs. Robinson. She and those family friends have been an invaluable asset and necessity to keeping those home fires burning so that the Obamas did their work worry-free. So here's to you Mrs. Robinson.....
