Oklahoma bigot Sally Kern is leading her opponent 57 to 42,
7 of 22 precincts reporting.

I would love to see her homophobic a** bounced out of office.

1. OK
I was stationed in Oklahoma for a year when I was in the army. It is the most depressing place on earth. I was ready to reach for a razorblade after like a week of being there.

2. You should come back.
It's entirely different now.
Actually, Oklahoma County has registered more Dems than Republicans to vote for the first time ever. The place is changing. There's more to do, and it's a lot more interesting around here.

3. I've lived here my entire 51 years.
There are things I truly love about it, but the last 20 years the state has become so horribly hard-core conservative that it's hard for a liberal to feel at home. It's not the state my father grew up in, that's for sure.

5. Sill
Fort Sill. I admit i didnt see musch of the state while i was there, but the Lawton area was very bleak to me. Of course, im from an area with lots of trees and rolling hills.

6. Yeah, I don't think much of the greater OKC area.
The outskirts of Tulsa is pretty hilly - at least for this native Kansan who grew up with a wheat field bordering the back yard. :) And Tulsa is a designated "tree city," so it's quite pretty in areas. Of course, once again, I'm a Kansan, and trees are so far apart from each other there that birds drop out of the sky from exhaustion flying between them.

7. My brother was at Fort Sill. Hated it there. We call
"Stillwater" "Stoolwater."
