Along with my local "representative" Michael Burgess. (Anti-choice, creationist, Bush cocksucker.)

The Courts of Appeals seem to be trending Democratic.

On edit:
But the Supreme Court is still bright RED.:(

10. ...but it's better than 2004! So hopefully by 2012 for President Elect Obama's
2nd term, Texas will turn blue. We have to put up with Lamar Smith...district 21. :(

was of late last night and I haven't checked on it this morning. It's so-o repuke here! Rove has a residence just 5 miles fom me. My husband used to co-own the property with a business partner and we gag everytime we drive by the place thinking Rove could be there. No Rove sightings. Wonder if he changed his voter registration? I really don't know what it will take here for people to wake up.

edit: forgot my :hi: back!

11. 53% - 45%
Bush vs Gore - 59% - 38%

Bush vs Kerry - 61% - 38%

We're getting a little bit better. Especially since one in four of us thinks Obama is a Muslim.

I think he oughta put off travelling down here for a couple of years.

12. ha. Nope. I just spent 5 months in Houston. What a miserable place.
Very friendly people, but you talk to them about anything other than the weather -- oh boy.

Hubby had a fight with an administrator at MD Anderson over a waiting room TV. (You wait A LOT at MD, for days on end). He didn't want to watch FOX, flip -- she would flip it back. He would change it -- she finally came out of her office and told all the receptionists that the TV should always be on FOX no matter what because it was the only unbiased news channel out there.

No joke. I could help but laugh. Hubby started to argue with her. (Oh and that went well . . .)

I always wondered what the docs thought about that -- the docs I know I am sure are not fundie neocons. But probably they never see the waiting rooms.
