3. Yes 1980...maybe even 1968
1968 is when darkness fell. The assassinations, the war, and Nixon. 1980 was when the delusion really set in. This is almost unbelievable.

This is the one. 1968...I have not sensed this urgency/excitement since I campaigned for Bobby.

I am grateful that I lived to see it.

6. I was born in December of 1980
I've been thinking lately about how that has colored my perceptions - and I think it's a large part of why over 70% of the people in my age group in North Carolina voted for Obama.

Neocons are all that we know of the Republican party.
