Senate race Exit Polls - Kentucy, MISS, GA post data be vigilant!
Edited on Tue Nov-04-08 11:21 PM by SoCalDemocrat
Here is what I found at as of 7:54pm PST when I pulled them off. Don't believe the hype about exit polls being unpredictive. See http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/11/04/exit-polls-2008-see-the-f_n_140986.html

-- New Hampshire: Sen. John Sununu down 18 points to Democrat Jeanne Shaheen

-- Minnesota: Sen. Norm Coleman down 12 to Democrat Al Franken

-- Kentucky: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is up two over Democratic challenger Bruce Lunsford

-- Georgia: Senator Saxby Chambliss up three over Democrat Jim Martin

-- Colorado: Rep. Mark Udall is up 51 percent to 44 percent over Republican Bob Schaffer

-- North Carolina: Democrat Kay Hagen is up 52 percent to 43 percent over Republican Sen. Elizabeth Dole

-- Louisiana: Sen. Mary Landrieu (D) is "winning" her race against Republican challenger John Kennedy

1. DU please focus on Kentucky, Miss, and Georgia
With Kentucky's McConnell, Mississippi's Wicker, and Georgia's Chambliss - who looks positioned for reelection - Senate Democrats won't reach 60 votes, even if they gain seats in Colorado (Udall) and Alaska (Begich).

The two races still very much up for grabs: Minnesota and Oregon. But even with those potential victories, Democrats are poised to fall just short of the sixty votes needed for a filibuster-proof majority in the US Senate.

If you have exit poll data you can offer for these three states, any precincts, post it here. We should look for anomalies. Undervotes, high votes for 3rd party candidates, more votes reported than cast or than registered voters in a precinct, disparity between exit polls and reported results, big variance between votes for Obama and Senators from same precincts.

2. As long as we have those damned machines,
I will never believe that Saxby Chambliss has been elected fairly, nor will I believe that the state is that red. Grr.
