Strange, I don't feel euphoria as much as I feel relief. |
|
Instead of partying, I just want to sit back and go "whew!"
It's been a long 8 years.
Maybe by the inauguration this will sink in and I can celebrate, but right now I feel like I just stumbled out of the jungle after being lost for eight years. Hungry, tired, sore, worn out.

there is a touch of euphoria. i went to sleep two hours ago because i was driving myself apeshit pushing refresh on the electoral map and when i woke up john mccain was about to concede. i had to call my friend Carla in CA - her 86-year-old mother was in tears.
now i want to put this fire toward ending the wars. but i am happy tonight.
WE WON!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I'm so relieved that the bastards are getting kicked to the curb and there will be no threat of a Palin presidency.

always with the thought of waiting for the election. Usually I am pretty mellow. Now I feel i need a long cleansing cry.

Until then, let me sign off with a huge hug to all for being here to share this incredible chapter in history.:grouphug:
