I was so sick of the talking heads blathering on over the goings on at Grant Park, I switched over. The prayer got a little strange toward the end - did anyone else hear that? I also wasn't expecting the entire crowd to be led in the pledge of allegiance. Do they usually do that? It's a big 'oh, be quiet' to all the people complaining about Obama not putting his hand on his heart for the anthem, I guess. Speaking of which, someone sang the anthem, too, and did a nice job. Now rocking out to Stevie Wonder and laughing that the camera found Oprah in the audience.

I'm getting a lump in my throat. This is really happening! HE WON! Woohoo!!
