We had lost contact, as you can imagine, because we had somewhat of a blow-up about Bush in 04. She had contacted me recently , but I did not mention politics. I did not want to get into a heated debate again. I just wanted to talk to my friend. But, last night she was EXCITED to see what was happening. She voted for Obama! She said " I don't vote for the party. I vote for the best man" At that point, I could have laid into her about *. But, I just felt way too good. I guess 8 years of trying raise a family of 5 kids under 6, on 60K, pushed her into reality. Today couldn't be a better day! THANKS EVERYONE!!! (I am a Phillies fan, I hate to say but everything pales in comparison to my feelings of euphoria, relief, elation, bliss, jubilation.... I could go on and on.) WE DID IT GUYS!!
