Spike Lee on Morning Joe tells it like it is.
The republican party is still clinging to Leave it to Beaver and Howdy Doody.

This country is a multi-cultural country of ethnicities, cultures, religions and genders.

This is a good thing.

4. Exactly! He is absolutely right-on! The Republican Party...
especially its white, Christian fundamentalist base, is living in a delusional, unreal, white-dominated world from 50 years in the past. It's not the 1950s. They need to catch up to reality. They need to wake up, already. America is multi-cultural and multi-ethnic. The McCain/Palin rallies stood in stark contrast to the Obama/Biden rallies in their lack of ethnic diversity (except for a few well-placed uncomfortable individuals of color positioned behind the stage for the cameras). Their campaign attracted the most racists, and their campaign attacks were tinged with racism, fear, and hate. Marian Wright Edelman, president and founder of the Children's Defense Fund, once stated, "When Jesus Christ asked little children to come to him, he didn't say only rich children, or White children, or children with two-parent families, or children who didn't have a mental or physical handicap. He said, "Let all children come unto me." Republicans need to embrace this more inclusive world view and wake the fluck up already!
