What are your thoughts on the chances of Martin to win the run off? Can the Dems get a big turnout again to recapture the seat?

1. I'm just over the border in TN |

and that is my big concern. Even if there is a run-off, I'm hard pressed to see the turnout without Obama's name somewhere on the ballot.

2. I think it will be tough to win... |

although we can hopefully motivate folks to vote. Saxby Shameless has been running all kinds of ads the last week saying the choice is simple "Martin wants to raise your taxes, I don't." He's not above slinging dirt (recall his ads against Max Cleland a few years ago).
When you still have a fairly large rural (and white) population, along with rich folks living in the exurbs, Shameless's message, unfortunately, appeals to them.
I hope I am wrong....

3. Have the early votes been counted yet? |
